Early 1950's chrome postcard showing the Pink Flamingos at the Miami Rare Bird Farm south of Miami in Kendall Florida.

The Rare Bird Farm opened in the 1930's and closed in 1961. Its most famous resident was a chimp named Enos who in 1961 made the first orbital space flight by a US primate for NASA aboard the Mercury-Atlas V spacecraft.

The postcard has writing on the back but is unstamped and is in excellent condition.
