Jumbo sized chrome postcard (approximately 7.5" x 4.75" / 190mm x 120mm) from 1981 issued by Norwegian Caribbean Line announcing a performance by Nipsy Russell in the Saga Theatre for Windward Dining Guests. The blurb on the back of the card has some info and facts about the ship.
The postcard is unused. The card is creased the entire length of the right side and it has yellow tape reside triangular marks on all 4 corners from where it was taped to a photo album. (see photos)
The ship was built in 1962 and sailed with French Line as the S/S France from 1962-1974. NCL bought the ship in 1979 and refurbished it and renamed it ss Norway and it sailed with them until 1999 when it was damaged by a fire in the engine room. The ship was sold for scrap in 2003.
