4-panel 2-sided brochure from 1983 for the Westin Hotels owned Bellevue Stratford Hotel at Broad St and Walnut St in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
The brochure includes photos and descriptions of the hotel and its public amenities including the lobby, the Versailles and O'Brien's restaurants, The Grand Ballroom, The Hunt Room, and guest rooms and suites.
The brochure is in very good condition.
The 19-story 735 room hotel was built in 1904 and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Over the years it hosted the Democratic and Republican conventions, and its guests included US Presidents, and foreign royalty. The site gained infamy in 1976 when Legionnaires' disease spread through its air conditioning system and forced it to close in 1976. It was sold and reopened in 1979 after renovation. In 1988 it was sold and converted to a mixed use hotel / office space/ retail space building.
