1930's postcard showing a man and a woman dressed in the type of traditional Mexican attire that was common among the Zapotec peoples in the region of the city of Etla in the state of Oaxaca.

Etla is a Nahuatl word that roughly means "land of beans".

Printed in Mexico.

The postcard has some smudges on the front.  The back is used, postmarked, and has a Mexican 4 cent stamp that says 1910-1934 and a drawing of the monument to the revolution.
